Welcome to Atlantis University - Learn Your Own Way

Atlantis means »Advanced Technology for Learning in a Netbased Information Society« and is a project initiated by Prof. Dr. Bleimann from the computer science faculty of the Hochschule Darmstadt - University of applied science.

One of the targets of Atlantis University is an enhancement of the academic education and the conveyance of skills to students, which are necessary for a successful career nowadays. As well as continuously advancing the Knowledge Society.

Lecturers and teachers have the possibility to increase their skills in an international community with the help of that cooperation. It is not about a simple function oriented learning platform, but an agile, partly virtual campus full of people.

The Atlantis project represents a highly focused and group based character dynamic. Therefore many students have the possibility to bring in their knowledge and their experience in the context of a large project.

Social skills

Working in the Atlantis project is very effective way to build up or enhance your social, learning and technical skills.

Free labour organisation

There are no courses with compulsory attendance however there is one monthly meeting which all members attend. This way, all subgroups can collect valuable experience with realistic project management requirements.
